38th Annual Rush Valley Rodeo
JT got his first real taste of being a cowboy. He was so excited to ride a sheep!! Macady thought that she was big enough also, but Mom thought otherwise! Maybe next year! We are off to Bakersfield tonight. Our dear friend Leo P. Smith passed away on Thursday night and when his wife found his legal pad of who needed to be notified (bless his heart he made this list) we were third on the list. We felt pretty honored to have meant that much to him. He will be truely missed. Also this week we brought Thunder home from the vet. He has been there for about 3 weeks. He got his foot caught in some wire and just about pulled is hoof off. The vet was kind enough to try and fix him on his own. If he wasn't able to fix him, then he would put him down. If he was, we could buy him back for the cost of the surgery. He is now JT's horse. Other than all of this, it has been pretty quite around here.

JT's Birthday

We had a busy day for the 30th. We started out for the Zoo at about 9:30 and didn't get back till about 3:00. Then I had to run and pick up cake and his big present (the bike). Then some of Lynn's family came over for cake and ice cream. By the time everyone left it was 10:00. Megan we missed you, but can't wait to see your new van!
